Word Transformation takes familiar words literally. A catfish becomes both cat and fish. A jay walks confidently across a city street. A dragonfly appears as a tiny dragon suspended on delicate wings.

The collection began with humor, but gradually became an exploration of how language quietly shapes visual thought often without notice.

About the book

A visual interpretation of words taken literally catfish, jaywalkers, dragonflies, seahorses, and other familiar terms transformed into imagined creatures and characters.
