Music

I don’t hear every story in the same voice.

Music gives me another way to enter the worlds I create. A story may call for a single acoustic guitar, another for rock, another for voices and rhythms. I like moving among voices, instruments, and sounds influenced by many traditions because the stories themselves come from different places, histories, and imagined worlds.

The voice changes. The music changes. The impulse behind them is much the same.
