Bees

At the Edge of Evening

For two years, the artist spent time among bees. She fed them daily, planted clover instead of grass, and moved through the garden while hundreds flew close enough for their wings to brush her face. They did not sting.

The book is neither a field guide nor a scientific account. It is a visual essay about attention, coexistence, and the many forms of intelligence that remain beside us, not hidden, only unlearned. Photographs, painterly studies, and reconstructed memories create a record of a garden briefly shared.

About the book

A visual essay about bees, trust, and the unlearned languages moving through a shared garden.
