At Work

Ways of Working

At Work pairs animals with imagined professions. A falcon scans the horizon. An elephant understands structure. An octopus manages impossible systems with quiet ease.

The collection began as humor but slowly became something else a way of thinking about intelligence, instinct, and the many forms competence can take. These are less portraits of occupations than observations about how different minds move through the world.

About the book

A sly and respectful visual taxonomy of animals in human occupations, where skill matters more than species.
